Dan Lederberg Honored as 2019 Helping Hand Award Recipient
Daniel Lederberg is a successful commercial real estate investor in our community. For the last 5 years Dan has conducted the Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Auction. This highly prized Kentucky bourbon draws fans from everywhere. Instead of pocketing the auction proceeds, Dan decided to donate them to Seeds 4 Success. Each year his auction provides between $20,000 to $25,000 to Seeds 4 Success.Dan was also instrumental in helping Seeds acquire officespace. Now staff, children, board members, and volunteers have a visible spot to gather and work. Dan believes in Seeds 4 Success’ mission. He says, “I remember so clearly when Iwas first introduced to Seeds by Helena and John. Whenthey explained to me that their goal was to teach children the skills to become more productive members of society, I knew that I had found the right local charity.
